Privacy policy

Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no tracking pixels. The only personal information we hold about you is what you typed into the form, or what you wrote to us in an email.

What we collect

• What you send us in the form. Your name, business name, email address, current website if you give one, what you want more of, and anything you write in the message box.
• What you send us by email or text. Whatever is in the message, including the address or number you sent it from.
• Server logs. Our web server records the IP address, time, page and browser of each request, the way every web server does. Those logs keep the site running and show us whether it is being attacked.
• Business contact details we found publicly. If we emailed you first, we took your business email from a public source such as your own website or a business listing, and we hold only that address, your business name, and the location it was listed under.

What we do not collect

• No cookies are set by this site.
• No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording. The only third party this page contacts is Google Fonts, which serves its typefaces.
• No payment details are collected on this site.
• We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Why we hold it and what we do with it

We use what you send us to reply to you, to have the conversation you started, and to run the work if you become a client. That is the whole of it. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to anyone else for their own marketing.

Who else can see it

Only the suppliers we need to run the business, and only for that purpose.

• Google Workspace and Migadu host our email, so anything you email us sits in a mailbox with one of them.
• Our own server receives the form submission and stores it.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this page, so your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Marketing email, and how to stop it

We send business-to-business email to publicly listed business addresses. Every message carries a way to stop it, and if you reply asking us not to write again, we stop, and we do not pass your address to anyone else. You can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing oscar@pristinegrowth.com.au. We honour that for the address you write from and for any other address you name.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation could reasonably continue. Client records are kept for as long as we work together, plus seven years for tax and business records. Requests to stop contact are kept indefinitely, because remembering that you asked is the only way to reliably never contact you again.

Where it is stored and how it is protected

Our web server holds form submissions. Email is with Google Workspace and Migadu, which means messages may be stored on servers outside Australia. Access is limited to Oscar Chapman. Nothing is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise, but the surface here is deliberately small.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email oscar@pristinegrowth.com.au and we will answer within 30 days, at no charge.

If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first and we will try to sort it out. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. The version you are reading is the one that applies.
